A Big Thanks to all the wonderful participants of Quanta'12 for making the event a Grand Success

Quanta – “Miniaturizing Omnipotence” is a prodigious techno-cultural event, jointly organised by the Society of Materials Science Engineers (SMSE) in association with the Students’ chapter of the Madras Metallurgical Society (MMS). The three-day extravaganza spanning between March 20 and March 22 is premeditated to test not only the cognizance of students about Materials Science but also explores their creative abilities as well.
The first edition Quanta’10 received overwhelming response from notable events like the International Workshop conducted by the Sterling group, UK. Similarly in Quanta’11, the International Workshop on the Recent Trends in Nano-Engineering organised via video conferencing from MIT Boston, with eminent speakers from IGCAR Kalpakkam and IIT Madras, bagged a Brobdingnagian response from students all over India.

Quanta’12 is now bigger and better to stun participants and reward the cognizance of students. With a plethora of events like the Hephaestus’ Oracle, The Perfect Pitch, Function of Materials, D-Bate, and crowned by the Workshop on Automotive Materials -the most happening domain of Materials Science, Quanta’12 is all geared up to beat its own record and give the participants an experience truly worth cherishing.

We welcome you all to Quanta’12 with a guarantee to enrich your brain, empower your thoughts and excite your adrenaline – in short, an electrifying experience awaits you here at CEG, Anna University.
